การ์ด เชื่อมต่อ แบบ PROFIBUS (Process Field Bus) สามารถ ใช้งานได้ ง่าย มีความ ยืดหยุ่น สูง เหมาะกับ ระบบ อัตโนมัติ ใน โรงงาน อุตสาหกรรม รุ่น DF PROFI II สามารถ ใช้งานได้ ทั้งในรูปแบบ โปรโตคอล DP (Decentralized Peripherals) และ DPV1 เพื่อการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลแบบ Acyclic และจัดการ alarm ได้ สามารถใช้งานได้ทั้ง 3.3 และ 5 โวลต์
การ์ด รุ่น DF PROFI II มี Bus ให้เลือกหลายแบบ สามารถใช้งานกับ คอมพิวเตอร์ PC, Work Station และ คอมพิวเตอร์ เซิร์ฟเวอร์ ได้ ได้แก่ PCI, PCIe และ CPCI

- มีฟังก์ชั่น Watchdog สำเร็จรูป เชื่อมต่อโดยตรงกับ Physical Line สำหรับอุปกรณ์ Master ในหลักการ Redundancy ของ class 1
- สามารถ ประมวลผล ข้อมูล ด้วย I/O และส่ง Timestamp ที่มี ความละเอียด ในระดับ มิลลิ วินาที ได้
- เก็บ ข้อมูลการกำหนดค่า ของ PROFIBUS ในหน่วยความจำแฟลช แบบ failsafe เพื่อความปลอดภัย
- มี Configuration Tool แบบกราฟฟิค สามารถใช้งานได้ง่าย
- สามารถใช้งาน กับ ระบบปฏิบัติการ หลากหลาย รูปแบบ ได้แก่ Windows 7 / Windows 10, Linux (SUSE, Redhat, Fedora), LINUX RT and LabVIEW™ RT
